TecVac vacuum sanitation systems represent today an advanced vacuum technology suitable for every ship. State of the art construction, reliability, long life endurance, minimum maintenance and high automation are their characteristics. Suitable for grey and black water systems combined or not, for systems incorporating a sewage treatment plant or holding tank they can offer weight and space saving solutions for any type of ship. Easy to install, offer design flexibility without incurring extra costs and can be delivered with Biocon sewage treatment systems in compact units.

The vacuum unit consists of the following main components

§  Two vacuum pumps, liquid ring type with bronze impeller

§  Three vacuum pressostats (two for pump operation one for safety margin)

§  One vacuum manometer

§  Vacuum tank made from SS316L, serves also for pump Para flu reservoir

It can be made according to ship requirements, as a compact unit itself or as integrated holding tank with requested volume. Typical tank diameters are 60,80& 95 cms with heights up to 1,5 metre.

§  Three level magnetic contacts (low and medium for automatic operation, high for alarm level)

§  Assembly piping from SS316L

§  One transfer pump self prime from SS316 to drive sewage to desired destination

§  Electrical panel driven by PLC for automated or manual operation. During operation the following information can be shown on display:

1.      Working hours of vacuum & transfer pumps for preventive maintenance

2.      Status of level contacts

3.      Function status of different pumps

4.      Critical parameters adjustment
